The DiscoverŪ Platinum Card is ideal for those who are interested in the following Cashback BonusŪ reward program and platinum benefits.
Through the cash back reward program, they receive up to 1% cash back for general purchases, 5% for purchases made at specific merchants (places like bookstores, home improvement stores, gasoline stations, restaurants), 0.25% made at certain discount stores and warehouse clubs. For the first $1,500 spent on general purchases with the card, members get 0.25%. Purchases between $1,500 and $3,000 means 0.5% cash back, and 1% for over $3,000. They can also earn up to a double Cashback BonusŪ for redeeming their rebates for gift cards or certificates from participating Discover Card Partners. The rebates do not expire and there is no yearly limit. There is no annual fee, and a 0% introductory APR on purchases and balance transfers.
